Nighat grew up in Chitral, Pakistan, moved to Memphis, Tennessee as an adult, and eventually became a high level entrepreneur and dedicated philanthropist. She gave a speech on women’s empowerment for an international conference. Her accomplishments are many and varied. Her latest venture was producing an award-winning short film to advocate for better mental healthcare in Pakistan and around the world.
