Patricia Greenberg πββοΈ didn't start out athletic β she was a self-described "uncoolest person on the planet" who stumbled into nutrition by accident in college π₯ then built a career as a dietitian, chef instructor, and author of The Whole Soy Cookbook. A spontaneous LA Marathon sign-up turned into 20 marathons π and 115 half-marathons, including a Greek odyssey retracing the original Pheidippides route in Athens π¬π·. After a hip replacement, Patricia traded running for an unexpected new sport: tower climbing π’ β racing up stairwells in landmark skyscrapers like the Empire State Building, Chicago's Hancock Tower, and a deeply emotional 102-story climb up the new World Trade Center π½. Her mantra, "It's okay to be old," isn't resignation π€, rest π§Ά, a little extra weight as protective armor β¨. Her wisdom: a five-minute walk and a little self-acceptance can move the needle further than perfection ever will β€οΈ.
As the author of five books on nutrition, fitness, wellness and fulfilling lifeβs goals, she has a special interest in enhancing the education of the general public, and providing accurate health information to todayβs consumer.
Passionate about her own wellness, Patricia ran 20 marathons, 110 half marathons, and climbed towers and stadiums all over the world. Now at 65, she is a Yin Yogi and gym devotee, determined to stay strong for life.
Married with a grown daughter, she is an avid knitter and book club junkie.
