Catalina Shirley is a USA Ice Climbing Team member and biochemistry student at the University of Colorado. She has competed internationally at youth and adult world events since 2016, and is the youngest American athlete ever to make a world cup semifinal. In addition to classes, Catalina works at The Ice Coop, a gym in Boulder aimed at growing the sport and community of drytooling. There, she sets climbing routes, runs a weekly training group, and teaches beginners in her sport. Outside of climbing, there is nothing 18-year old Cat loves more than exploring beautiful Colorado with friends and family.
