Take it from the Ironwoman

Ep. 442 - Leslie A. Gregory, CEO of TWENTYSIXDIAMOND

Episode Summary

Leslie's journey into running began in college, thanks to a roommate who introduced her to the sport. Running became a significant part of her life. Leslie founded TWENTYSIXDIAMOND, a jewelry company dedicated to runners, as a way to celebrate the achievements of marathoners and other endurance athletes. The idea was sparked by her own experience training for and completing the New York City Marathon. The Meaning Behind the Jewelry: The jewelry is designed to be a lasting symbol of the effort and commitment involved in training for and completing a marathon. The pieces are made from high-quality materials like 14 karat gold and VVS quality diamonds, with each diamond representing a mile in the marathon (26.2 miles). The Connection Between Sports and Business: Leslie draws parallels between her marathon training and her entrepreneurial journey, highlighting the importance of patience, discipline, and perseverance. She enjoys the solitary aspects of both running and building her business, seeing them as opportunities for personal growth. See you in November at the New York City Marathon Expo....

Episode Notes

Leslie A. Gregory, I am the founder of TWENTYSIXDIAMOND, the everyday medal for runners. Our entire collection is 14 karat yellow or white gold with real diamonds.

Our best selling piece is the classic marathon bracelet, with 26 diamonds, one diamond for every mile of the Marathon.
I built the company while training for my one and only marathon, 2022 NYC. There was a huge gap in the market for fine jewelry made for runners- not silver, not plaited. Runners were not able to properly celebrate these finishes, these incredible achievements. I launched the week of the marathon Nov 2022, and have been going strong ever since.
