Avalon Scarola is a rising senior at Yale University, majoring in Applied Physics with a Certificate in Medieval Studies. Over her academic career, she has worked to acquire a well-rounded set of skills in physics, engineering, design, history, and creative writing. She finds fulfillment in learning new things and pushing herself out of her comfort zone. Originally in the class of 2024, she has taken a gap year to travel and perform with The Yale Whiffenpoofs, America's oldest collegiate a cappella group. Avalon looks forward to returning to Yale in the Fall.
