Ceylan is a dedicated social changemaker who has worked for the past 20 years to remove barriers for women, girls, and marginalized communities. Ceylan is the founder of Fihri - a social enterprise aimed at eliminating period poverty worldwide sustainably. 500 million menstruators across the globe lack access to menstrual products each month. Ceylan started her career at the Massachusetts Office for Refugees and Immigrants trying to help refugees become self-sufficient in Massachusetts. She later was appointed as a Commissioner for the MetroWest Commission on the Status of Women and ran for office. Ceylan received her BA in Political Science and International Affairs from Northeastern University and MBA from Babson College.
