Hi Susanne! I believe you want to talk about my travels, so here goes: I’m native to Fairfield, CT. Unlike NH, where I live now, we were known as “jet setters”. Not just the area I lived in, fueled my love of travel. My Dad and Aunt subscribed to National Geographic, when it was still paper only. I remember picking up NG and seeing all of the far away places that I wanted to go to. Siam was at the top of the list (still haven’t made it). As an adult, I first traveled the US. (I’ve been to all 50 states, and then went back to 10 more to complete marathons). While divorced from my first husband, I would leave my children with Nannie’s, and fly to different states. I had some great adventures, because rarely did I rent a car, but instead, I hired a Native-to-the-state taxi driver to show me around (I got to see Leavenworth prison this way) One man that I dated, took me on a private cruise ship (only 22 people). He took me to Europe, so hence my world adventures began My second husband is from Egypt, so I have been there twice More recently, my friend Martha and I have been traveling. My favorite country that I have been to with her is Iceland and second favorite Greece. In total, I have been to 13 countries; some alone, some with the man I dated, and some with Martha I tell people that “Travel “ is my middle name, and even with college degrees, it has been my best source of education!
