I would assume Ms. Santa Claus doesn’t bake out of the box, and that all her ingredients are fresh. Financial savvy. How much money do you need to earn throughout the year in order to buy all the ingredients for baking? Ms. Santa Claus needs to be a fine forecaster who’s willing to take a few risks. Customer service. This is a job in itself. As a business leader, you want to make sure you have the best people on the phone, or politely answer e-mails; they shouldn’t sound like they’re simply following a script, and they should be friendly and accommodating of clients’ wishes. You can learn a lot from your customers’ experiences and comments. Learning. I think Ms. Santa Claus is eager to learn new technologies. She understands the modern digital space, and she’s interested in all the good things happening in the world. Learning is a big part of her life. After all, she needs to be able to read all the letters received in different languages from children around the world. Coaching. This is the biggest job for Ms. Santa Claus, as she needs to have a global view of the operation and fine-tune processes for all involved. Ms. Santa Claus is like a CEO, CFO, COO, CIO, and CMO all combined into one person.
