Sharbel Pimentel - The Translator from Mexico City

Episode Summary

Sharbel Pimentel is an independent interpreter, literary translator and subtitler from English, Italian and French into Spanish. Before turning to translation, he studied Orchestral Conduction at the Escuela Superior de Música in Mexico City. After some time in the Market Research area, he quit the "steady" office jobs for good. His specialty topics are Humanities, Music, Literature and Culture in general, Marketing, HR (Talent, Strategic Leadership, Personnel, etc.), Finances and Executive Education. He has translated authors such as Virginia Woolf, Luigi Ballerini, Michael Segell, Anna Felder, and Étienne Barilier. He lives in Mexico City where works independently as well as being the Academic Coordinator of Ametli (The Association of Mexican Literary Translators).
